VLC Media Player is a powerful and above all extremely light multimedia player. Its resource consumption is reduced to a strict minimum. The advantage of this player is that it does not require the installation of additional codecs. This does not prevent it from being able to play a slew of audio and video formats completely independently. These include formats: Mpeg-1, Mpeg-2, Mpeg-4, DivX, AVi, ASF, AAC, MP3, OGG, MKV, Real, WAV, RAW, FLAC, FLV, MXF, NUT, MIDI, etc.
