MKVToolNix is a free application designed to create, edit and inspect MKV files. It is a collection of different tools in one tool (mkvmerge, mkvinfo, mkvextract, mkvpropedit and mmg). It can modify, create, inspect and also allows you to split, edit, merge, rip and rip MKV files. From simple to complex video projects, this tool can handle everything from adding audio tracks to subtitles or simply merging multiple videos. It supports a wide range of video and audio formats. The video formats are: RealVideo, MPEG1/2, H264/AVC, Dirac, VC1. Supported video codecs include VP9, RealVideo, MPEG1/2, H264/AVC, Dirac, VC1.
