XYplorer is an interesting alternative to Windows File Explorer. It proposes to advantageously replace the native file manager by adding useful functionalities while remaining efficient. The major advantage of XYplorer is to offer tabbed navigation similar to that of modern web browsers. You thus have in the same window an interface to several directories simultaneously. Each tab contains all the information already present in the Windows file explorer, but also the details of the selected file. On the other hand, a "preview" tab gives an overview of documents such as photographs, videos, sounds, HTML files. Finally, the search module of the tool shows high performance that even exceeds that of Windows File Explorer.
